It's been too long since we've had a sale and we are sincerely glad to be back to host and represent a true estate sale loaded with antiques and collectibles. As hard as I've tried to list all the important stuff, I'm sure I've missed some. There's just too much to remember even with pictures.

Getting Ready for Upcoming Sale - More Pictures

We are almost there. Our tentative dates for the sale are April 30th and May 1st. (Friday-Saturday). If everything goes according to schedule this week we will confirm this date, set the times and announce the address.

Update on Next Sale
We signed the contract to do the sale in Jonesboro, now all the hard work begins. As we sort, clean and organize, I will keep you updated with Discoveries and Pictures.
I hope to load some "Before" pictures later today. Just click on the Picasa Web Album link on the right side bar to see if they have been loaded sometime later this evening.
As always, Lesa and I are looking forward to hosting the sale and seeing all of you in the near future.
FYI: My regular web site www.estatesalesource.net is down temporarily. I am in dispute with my new hosting company, which I hope to get settled real soon.

New Web Site
My new web site is up and running. I will keep it updated with all estate sale news as well as pictures for upcoming sales and updated pictures of the Antique Griffin Mall.
I intend to take some pictures this weekend of the Mall. They will be posted on the blog site & the new web site by Monday. New web address: http://www.estatesalesource.net/
Update on my Mom. She has been doing real well and is adjusting to her new home pretty well.
However, this past weekend she fell in her room and fractured a rib. Although this is very painful she is doing as well as can be expected. She's quite a trooper. All prayers are sincerely appreciated.

Upcoming Hiram, Ga. Sale - More Pictures

We are still unloading closets & cabinets. There is more stuff in this house than I ever imagined. Oh well, that's what you get with 45 years of collecting by my Mom and my late Father.

Upcoming Living Estate Sale
Good News on a Sad Note!
As mentioned before my Mom has to have full time care. Well she has a huge beautiful old home which she does not need all the upkeep and high cost to operate on a fixed income. Therefore we are downsizing for her and I will host her Living Estate Sale in October. This is really sad for me because I love this old house she has called home for over 20 years but it is best for her.
The Good! news part of all this is I put the house on the Market September 13th. and had a contract on it September 17th. I never dreamed it would sell so fast during this economic disaster we are experiencing.
Since we are keeping some of her furnishings this will be a relatively small sale for furniture but you won't believe the smalls & collectibles.
I have a few pictures to post today and I will have lots more after Saturday. I will be working there all weekend because I am trying to get the sale ready by October 17th.
FYI: Part or All of the Fiesta Collection may be purchased by a family member but it may not so I have included it in the pictures.
Her home is in Hiram, Ga. and I know that's a long way for most of you but we sure hope you can make it.
